In this example, we will show you how to create a photo enlargement of 80 × 100 cm. Of course, you can choose your own size and play endlessly with frames and colours in our editor. This guide is intended as a handy reference: we will take you through the process step by step, so you can soon create your own IXXI photo enlargement.
Step 1 - Getting Started
Go to https://www.ixxi.com/photo-products/photo-enlargement/ and click on 'Get started'
Step 2 - Uploading
You are now in our photo editor. Click on ‘Start creating’ and select the photo you want to use for your photo enlargement. Then click on ‘Create your IXXI’. Don’t worry: you can always change your photo later.
Tip: check in advance whether your photo is large enough for the desired size. In this article you can read more about it.
Step 3 - Choosing the Size
In this example, we are making a photo enlargement using 20 × 20 cm photo cards with a total size of 80 × 100 cm. You can set this under the heading ‘Layout’.
Here you can also choose an optional border and the color of the tools. For this example, we are not using a frame and are using white tools.
Step 4 - Determining the Crop
Click on the photo and then click on 'Edit photo'. Move or zoom until everything is perfectly in view.
Tip: pay attention to where the cards touch each other and where the connectors are. This way you can avoid, for example, a connector ending up in the middle of a face or important details being split across several cards.
Step 6 - Checking
Completely happy with your design? Click on ‘Done’. You will now see an overview of all the selected options. Check everything carefully: as soon as your order is placed, we will get to work for you straight away and it can no longer be changed. Is everything correct? Add your photo enlargement to the shopping basket and complete your order.
